Why Beta?

The brothers of Beta Theta Pi consistently strive to elevate the standards of the Greek community. Through a steady recruitment of well-known and well-rounded men, the Beta Beta chapter at the University of Mississippi has come to be acclaimed locally and nationally for its excellence.

Academically, Beta claims one of the most successful academic advancement plans in the Greek community. Our overall GPA is consistently higher than the campus-wide GPA. Our brothers hold esteemed positions in their respective fields of study, and are readily available to help anyone who seeks it.

The social opportunities of Beta Theta Pi greatly enhance the college experience at Ole Miss. Every semester’s social schedule features date parties, formal functions, and live concerts. For the past several years, Beta has consistently been known as one of the most exciting fraternities on campus, and the social schedule is continually improving.

In addition to our reputation for academic excellence and campus involvement, our beloved chapter constantly strives towards making a positive and lasting impact in the Oxford / Lafayette County community through service and outreach. As the second-largest chapter of Beta Theta Pi in the nation, our brothers are seen everywhere you go.
